Peloton expands its line of workout equipment

Peloton is expanding its rowing machine line to enhance client base and profit.

Peloton Row is available for preorder on the manufacturer's website for $3,195. December should bring first delivery.

The rowing machine joins the Peloton Bike, Peloton Bike+, Peloton Tread, and Peloton Guide training systems. These devices require a $44 monthly Peloton membership.

Peloton Row is released after the company restructured.

The company reported growing losses and falling sales for the fourth quarter of its fiscal year, the sixth straight deficit.

Peloton previously said it aimed to break even in the second part of fiscal 2023.

Peloton also announced a partnership with Amazon to sell its products on the online retailer, which will help the company develop. This is Peloton's first non-direct-to-consumer endeavor.

Peloton's leadership has shifted. The company announced last week that co-founders John Foley, Hisao Kushi, and Kevin Cornils would be leaving.

Foley headed Peloton for almost a decade before retiring in February.
